In response to the rapidly changing situation with COVID-19 infection across the UK and in keeping with the latest public health guidelines, the trustees have taken the decision that Barnstondale is to close for at least the next 8 weeks, until Monday 18th May at the earliest.
For the sake of the health and wellbeing of all our guests and staff, this is the only sensible decision we can take at this time. It will remain under regular review and we will always update you here should this change.
A very limited staff will remain on site at Barnstondale, but the office will not be operating during this time and so you will not be able to contact us on the phone. We remain very much open for email enquiries, however, so you can get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org throughout this closure period. We’re still able to take booking enquiries for later this year and into 2021, so if you have any questions or concerns then please just email us on email@example.com and we’ll reply just as soon as we can.
The trustees would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the Barnstondale staff for their hard work already this year, as well as all of you who have visited the site or had bookings for this normally very busy period at Barnstondale; we know this decision will be disappointing for many who have been hugely looking forward to their visit this spring, but we would not be the charity supporting young people if we didn’t put their needs and wellbeing first at this time.
As soon as we have an update on a future date for re-opening, we will post it here first. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back to Barnstondale.
In the meantime, do please keep yourself safe and healthy and follow all the public health advice for the weeks and months ahead. The more we work together, the sooner we can stop the spread.
