Operations Manager

Salary: up to £33,000pa

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to really make a difference? Barnstondale Centre is looking for an Operations Manager to work with our Centre Director and leadership team to support our exciting growth plans.

At Barnstondale Centre we have a strong reputation for providing a range of residential trips and outdoor activities for schools and youth groups of all abilities. We are passionate about encouraging young people to have fun and adventures in the outdoors, teaching them life skills and enhancing their self-esteem. We have an ambitious medium-term plan for continued growth to support more participants and develop the Centre’s educational activities. The successful Operations Manager will have a pivotal role in executing these plans.

The Operations Manager role will be critical in delivering the day-to-day operations of the Centre, so you must have a proven flexible ‘hands-on’ approach. You should be ready to mentor and develop our passionate and committed staff, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. This is a new role for the charity and the candidate will be working closely with the Centre Director to implement the strategy, improve performance, develop projects to enhance the Centre’s ‘offer’ and ensure compliance.

On offer is a salary up to £33,000 pa (depending on experience), which includes a favourable holiday allowance and a personal pension plan.

Here at Barnstondale Centre, we are embarking on the next exciting phase of our growth and if you would like to play a major part in contributing to the future development of the charity, we would love to hear from you.
